MEET THE TEAM

Ron and Lesia Duvall

Ron and Lesia Duvall are the heart and soul of Duvall’s Lawn and Garden, having worked with the company for 43 years and owned it for 35. Their deep commitment to quality service and customer care has shaped the success of the business, which has become a trusted name in the community.

Ron Duvall, as the forefront of the business, leads with a steadfast dedication to his faith and values. His strong Christian principles guide the way he conducts business, ensuring that integrity, honesty, and compassion are always at the core of his interactions with customers and employees alike. Ron’s leadership and unwavering work ethic have earned him the respect and admiration of all who work with him.

Lesia Duvall, alongside Ron, plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations, offering her expertise and support to keep the business running smoothly. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail have helped the company flourish for over three decades.

Together, Ron and Lesia have cultivated a business that not only provides high-quality lawn and garden services but also builds lasting relationships with their customers, grounded in trust and service. Their dedication to both their work and their faith continues to inspire their team and serve as the foundation for Duvall’s Lawn and Garden’s ongoing success.

Ron and Lesia are both members of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. Ron is a vital part of the church as he serves as a Deacon and plays Bass for the church’s choir. He is also a part of the gospel quartet The Nottingham Four where he sings Bass.

 

SHAWN KENNEDY

Shawn Kennedy is an experienced professional with 19 years of dedicated service at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden, where he currently holds the dual role of Parts Manager and Service Technician. Throughout his tenure, Shawn has honed his expertise in both customer service and technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s parts department while providing top-notch repair and maintenance services for customers’ lawn and garden equipment.

As Parts Manager, Shawn oversees inventory, ordering, and distribution of essential parts, working closely with vendors and ensuring customers receive the right components in a timely manner. His deep knowledge of various lawn equipment and parts has made him a valuable resource for customers seeking advice or troubleshooting solutions.

In his role as a Service Technician, Shawn excels at diagnosing and repairing equipment, from lawnmowers to trimmers. His hands-on experience and commitment to quality have earned him a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality service.

Shawn is also dedicated to his family. Shawn is married and has 2 children. He is a member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as an usher and member of the security team. One of Shawn’s favorite things is watching and going to NASCAR events.

RUBY

Ruby is the beloved and trusted shop dog at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden, where she has become a cherished member of the team. Known for her friendly and affectionate nature, Ruby has a special place in the hearts of both customers and staff alike.

She loves greeting visitors with a wagging tail and is especially fond of children, often seen happily playing or sitting beside them as they visit the shop.

Ruby’s charm extends beyond her friendly demeanor—she has a particular fondness for treats. Customers often bring her tasty snacks, and she’s always quick to show her gratitude with a wag and a smile. Her joyful presence brings a sense of warmth and cheer to the business, making every visit a little brighter for those who stop by.

Whether she’s sitting quietly in the corner or sharing a playful moment with the kids, Ruby’s role as the shop dog is one that embodies the spirit of family and community at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden.

Josh Miller

Josh Miller is a seasoned professional with 23 years of dedicated service at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden, where he currently serves as the Service Manager and Master Technician. Over the course of his extensive career, Josh has developed a deep expertise in the technical and all other aspects of the lawn and garden industry.

As Service Manager, Josh oversees the service department, ensuring that all customer repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. His leadership and problem-solving skills have been pivotal in streamlining operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

In his role as a Master Technician, Josh brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the table. He is highly skilled in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of lawn and garden equipment, from mowers to outdoor power Equipment. His hands-on expertise, combined with his in-depth understanding of equipment mechanics, has earned him the trust of customers who rely on his ability to deliver precise, reliable repairs.

Josh’s long tenure at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden speaks to his commitment to the company and his passion for the industry. His blend of technical proficiency and leadership ensures that Duvall’s continues to provide top-quality service to its customers.

Josh is also a member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. He is married with 2 children. He is also very good at playing the guitar, which is his main hobby.

A.J. Beach

A.J. Beach has been a dedicated team member at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden for over a year, serving in dual roles as both the Pick-Up and Delivery Coordinator and Service Technician.

In his time with the company, A.J. has become a vital part of ensuring seamless customer service and efficient operations. As the Pick-Up and Delivery Coordinator, he oversees the logistics of transporting products and equipment to and from customers, ensuring timely deliveries and pick-ups. His strong organizational skills and attention to detail have earned him a reputation for reliability and precision.

In his role as Service Technician, A.J. applies his technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of lawn and garden equipment, providing expert service that keeps customers’ machinery running smoothly. His problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach make him a trusted point of contact for clients seeking assistance. A.J.’s passion for the lawn and garden industry, combined with his commitment to quality service, has contributed to the continued success of Duvall’s Lawn and Garden.

A.J. Is also a member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church where he plays guitar for the church’s choir.

Brandon Stewart

Brandon Stewart is an accomplished professional with 7 years of experience at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden, where he currently serves as the Sales Manager and Technician. Throughout his time with the company, Brandon has demonstrated a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-focused salesmanship, making him an integral part of the team.

As Sales Manager, Brandon is responsible for overseeing the sales department, driving business growth, and ensuring that customers find the right lawn and garden equipment to meet their needs. His deep knowledge of products, along with his excellent communication skills, allows him to provide tailored solutions and expert advice to clients, helping them make informed purchasing decisions. His commitment to customer satisfaction and relationship-building has contributed to the continued success of Duvall’s.

In his dual role as Technician, Brandon also applies his hands-on skills to service and repair lawn and garden equipment. Whether diagnosing issues or performing maintenance, his technical proficiency ensures that customers receive high-quality repairs and reliable service.

Brandon’s well-rounded expertise in both sales and technical support, along with his dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences, has made him a key asset at Duvall’s Lawn and Garden. His passion for the industry and his commitment to the company’s mission continue to drive his success and contribute to the business’s reputation for excellence.

Brandon is also a member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church where he serves in three capacities. One is he is the Assistant Sunday School Superintendent. Second, he teaches the 5th Grade class for the Church’s Discovery Club. And thirdly he is a member of the security team. He is married with 3 kids and has a passion for Baltimore sports.

Service
We service all equipment we sell as well as many other top brands. We also sharpen chainsaw chains and mower blades. Pickup/Delivery options are available.

Heating Fuel
We carry Blaschak Anthracite Coal as well as American Wood Fiber Softwood Pellets and Hallmark Wood Pellets.
